| Maya Cohan is a multimedia producer and designer who has been crafting innovative interactive experiences for over a decade. After receiving a degree in English Literature with honors from UCLA, Maya used her education to land a job in the lucrative field of Sikh vegetarian catering where she was often asked to don different costumes to serve vegan delights to adoring guests. As much as she enjoyed dressing up, when the opportunity came, she heeded the call and used the experience to plunge into the cutting edge field of interactive entertainment with pioneer CD ROM company, Voyager. She has produced award-winning interactive programs for clients such as Hasbro, AOL, Honda, Vulcan, Leapfrog, IBM, and Walt Disney Imagineering. She produced global web sites and broadcast graphics for the Live 8 concerts, and the interactive exhibits for the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. Prior to joining the Buddha, she led online strategy and production for Fox Searchlight Pictures, spearheading online marketing campaigns for films such as Thank You For Smoking, The Hills Have Eyes, and Sunshine. |
